Our customer in Hong Kong is searching for a 10-way Power Distribution Panel with alarm function, specifically designed for installation inside a 19-inch rack cabinet.
Currently, the customer utilizes Conta-Clip terminals for their existing terminal application. However, due to the lengthy lead time and elevated procurement costs, they have opted for SIGNALMAX.NET to create a new Power Distribution Panel solution.
SIGNALMAX.NET has developed a 3U rack-mounted Power Distribution Panel that features DIN rail mounting and an integrated internal alarm card. The feed-through terminals are securely fixed using screw connections.

All terminals are connected with low-friction, fire-resistant wires. The opposite ends of these wires are terminated directly to the alarm card for efficient monitoring and reporting.
The alarm card is specifically designed to monitor and report on the following parameters:
- Voltage (V)
- Current (A)
- Frequency (Hz)
- Power consumption (kWh)
- Phase failure / phase imbalance detection
Panel Structure:
- Top section: 2-pole MCB for incoming protection

The Planar Lightwave Circuit (PLC) fibre splitter within a STAR network is essential for efficient fibre signal distribution. In a centralized splitter configuration that aligns with ITU-T G.984 and G.9807 series recommendations, a 1x8 blockless optical fibre splitter is typically installed in an outdoor plant enclosure at the feeder-distribution interface. The splitter's input port connects to the Optical Line Terminal (OLT) in the central office using a single feeder fiber.
On the distribution side, the 8-output fibres become part of the signal network, routed through optical distribution frames (ODFs) or fibre access terminals (FATs). These fibres then link to the drop network, providing optical connectivity to 8 individual Optical Network Terminations (ONTs) or customer premises nodes.
This configuration enables effective signal distribution from a single OLT port to multiple subscribers while preserving the standardized optical budget and loss performance, as outlined in GPON and XG(S)-PON physical layer specifications.
